ABOUT
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
 BACKGROUND
With over 25 years experience in the exterior cleaning industry, we know that customers are broadly happy with the cleaning results achieved with pressure washing. What they don't like is the damage it can sometimes cause and the mess it leaves. We looked for an alternative and found soft washing: using biocidal solutions that dissolve stains instead of blasting them away. None of the products on the market gave good enough results for us, so we developed our own.
 THE SMART SOFTWASH DIFFERENCE
Our strong yet gentle Smart Softwashes dissolve organic stains within thirty minutes without damaging the surface being cleaned. The staining can then be simply hosed away.  No cracked render, no dislodged mortar or block paving sand - and the outstanding results last up to 5 times longer than you get with pressure washing. Our solutions carrying on working long after application. They penetrate surfaces on a microscopic level. protecting them and inhibiting the re-growth of lichen, algae, moss and so on.

LEAVE SOFTWASH ON THE SURFACE FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES. If the surface dries quickly, dampen slighly with a light spray of water.

WORK THE SOFTWASH INTO HEAVILY SOILED AREAS WITH A STIFF BROOM. A light scrubbing is all that's required to help the softwash penetrate stainining.

USE A GARDEN HOUSE TO THOROUGHLY RINSE THE AREA. Set the nozzle to spray, not jet, to avoid splash back. Re-apply Smart Softwash to stubborn areas as necessary.

 GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINES
You'll find specific directions and precautions on the rear label of each Smart Softwash pack.

GROUND LEVEL CLEANING:

Paths, patios, driveways

Check all equipment is safe and ready to use, no leaks or damages.

DO NOT use on tarmac and cover where necessary

Remove or cover all pots, plants, ornaments and foliage.

Add solution to applicator (either low pressure sprayer or watering can) and place on a soiled or protected area (in case of spillages)

Saturate area and allow to dwell for up to 30mins before rinsing.

For stubborn stains or heavy soiling, agitate with a stiff broom or brush. Re-apply if necessary.

In hot conditions slightly dampen area, do not saturate or leave standing water as this will dilute the solution.
Apply Smart Softwash to area and keep damp with light spray if the surface is drying too quickly.

If rain is expected, Smart Softwash cleansers can be used up to 1 hour before it falls (rain will aid rinsing)

Be careful to avoid splashback whilst rinsing.

Always remove all PPE before going back inside your hone or workplace.

Pull back edges on artificial grass and relay once finished.

Like most household cleaners, our products can discolour clothing if it is not protected.
